Originally established in 2024, Maya's is a locally, family owned business. The owners, Stephanie + Travis Dean, both have roots in the Athens area. Stephanie was born and raised in Thomasville, GA to David + Linda Balfour, where she met the love of her life. She moved to Bogart when Travis had a job transfer in 2014. She has worked in the retail business for 20+ years. Her experience will be able to guide you from the moment you enter Maya's to when you leave. Travis was born and raised in Athens, GA. He is the son of Fran + Wayne Dean of George Dean's Men's store. After graduating from UGA, he took a job in Thomasville. There he met Stephanie and decided he wanted to make her his forever bride. He received a deal for a job transfer in Jefferson and accepted. Since then, Travis has joined the insurance and home inspection industries. They have been married since 2015 and both enjoy empowering women. We strive to bring every customer a smile, excellent customer service, and style advice from head to toe!
